TIPS IN AN EMERGENCY
Here are our tips for addressing animal emergencies.
Step 1: Remain Calm. Do not attempt home remedies.
Step 2: Call Treasure Coast Animal Emergency Hospital at (772) 569-4500 to tell the staff about your emergency. Important first aid procedures may be needed before you leave for the hospital. The call alerts us to be ready for your arrival.
Step 3: Be careful. When injured or painful even your own pet may bite.
Step 4: Please make sure dog(s) have leashes and cats are in a carrier.
Step 5: Drive safely to Treasure Coast Animal Emergency Hospital located at 6580 69th St Vero Beach Fl., 32967. Unload your pet carefully and assistance is available if needed.

Treasure Coast Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital Policies & Procedures
After you authorize a Treatment Plan, medical care will be initiated. The obvious exception to this policy is a patient with life-threatening injuries that require immediate medical care. By bringing your pet into our facility and requesting medical treatment you are assuming financial responsibility. The charges will be estimated for you as soon as your pet is stabilized.
A deposit is required for all hospitalized patients at the time of their admission to the hospital. The deposit amount, equivalent to the low end of the estimate, will be applied to the final invoice total. All balances are due at the time of your pet’s discharge.
Because we are an emergency/critical care facility, it is our hospital policy to receive payment at the time of treatment. Treasure Coast Animal ER accepts Cash, MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover® and American Express®.
We do not offer any delayed billing but we do accept Care Credit if the bill is greater than $200. This credit plan offers a convenient, low minimum monthly payment and/or zero interest programs to help you accept the best Treatment Plan recommendation for your pets. If you do not already have an account with Care Credit we will be happy to assist you with the application.
